Zouwu Hat Knitting Pattern

Resembling the lantern flower, this beanie seemed perfect for Lunar New Year! This was first released in 2020! It works up faster than you’d think, and is a lighter weight knit for those in warmer weather climates.

Includes a lace chart if that is your preference for knitting. It will help tremendously if you are familiar with blocking.

Skill level: Advanced beginner/ Intermediate

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn (category 4) about 140 yards
US 7/ 4.5mm 16” circular needles for brim
US 8/ 5.0mm 16” circular needles or corresponding dpns for body and crown decrease

Stitch markers (8 of them)
Small cable needle
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Finished size: approximately 7.5” wide x 9.5” tall (unstretched)
