Volturi Hat Knitting Pattern

Taking a little inspiration from the Volturi, the vampire royalty from the Twilight Sage by Stephanie Meyer.

My favorite feature is the double rolled brim, which came about from seeing a stack of my Bunty Slouches. It reminded me of the cloaks worn by the Volturi, black with red lining. Photo tutorials and a video tutorial are included in the pattern for how to make the double rolled edge.

Beading accents are optional, but look totally cool with various designs provided in chart form.

Materials:
DK weight yarn ~ 160-165 total yards
Optional contrast color ~ 30-35 yards
US 3/ 3.25mm 16” circular needles
US 4/ 3.5mm 16” circular needles and/or dpns
Miyuki seed beads 6/0 in color of choice

Worsted weight yarn ~ 145-150 total yards
Optional contrast color ~25-30 yards
US 6/ 4mm 16” circular needles
US 7/ 4.5mm 16” circular needles and/or dpns
Miyuki seed beads 5/0 in color of choice

• 0.75-1mm crochet hook or one that will fit through the hole of the bead OR Oral-B Superfloss
• Stitch markers (5 + 1 unique for beginning of round marker) * Tapestry needle Scissors
