Rosewood Mitts (LIGHT) Knitting Pattern

A beautiful texture and stitch to match the Rosewood Cloche and Rosewood Bandana Cowl, these mitts can also be done in 1 or 2 colors! Written for medium yarn weights and knit using smaller than recommended needles, it produces a thick and plush fabric that will keep you just as cozy as thicker yarns may. Pattern includes both fingerless and full coverage mitt options. It's much easier than it looks too, using just one color at a time!

* Also note: there are many variances in yarn thickness, even within the same weight category. Please check gauge and adjust as needed!

Materials:
**Special note: This pattern takes a quite a bit of yarn so make sure you have a back up plan just in case. This is especially important if you are using something like Malabrigo Mecha, which can sometimes be less than the stated 130 yards, or if you have longer fingers.
I have done my best to give the higher end of yardage requirements. However, due to variances in hand lengths, widths, and adjustments for personal preferences, please make sure you have AT LEAST the recommended yardage.

Light bulky: 
Size S/M: MC: ~ 70 yards CC: ~60 yards
Size L: MC ~87 yards CC: ~65 yards
US 7/ 4.5mm and US 8/ 5mm DPNs, or circular needles for magic loop method

Worsted: 
Size M: MC - 75-78 yards CC - 78-80 yards
Size L: MC - 90 yards CC - 75 yards
US 6/ 4mm shorties, DPNs, or circular needles for magic loop method

*Tapestry needle, Scissors, Stitch holder or scrap yarn
