Pickett is Bowtruckle that was kept by Newt Scamander as a pet. Newt was especially fond of Pickett, and even carried him around in his top pocket, first because Pickett had a cold and needed body warmth, and also because Pickett had attachment issues. If you’ve seen Fantastic Beasts, you know this cute little creature has saved Newt many times by picking locks! Who wants a bowtruckle?

This is a FITTED hat as written. Suggestions for how to adjust for fit included.

Materials:
Light bulky weight yarn - You will need about 140 yards of yarn (average was 120-140).
US 7/ 4.5mm 16" circular needles
US 10.5/ 6.5mm 16" circular needles and DPNs
