Marauders Hat Knitting Pattern

These meandering stitches travel all over the hat, reminiscent of the footprints on the Marauder’s Map! Written for 2 yarn weights, DK and worsted, this makes a lightweight and comfortable beanie suitable for everyone. It’s a fun pattern to watch come to life with each round.

The pattern is written and charted, allowing you to knit using you preferred method. It’s a fitted style with slouch in the crown. Length can be adjusted as there are 4 places to begin decreasing.

Materials:
Worsted: 130-140 yards
US 6/ 4mm 16” circular needles
US 7/ 4.5mm 16” circular needles and/or dpns

DK: 160-180 yards
US 3/ 3.25mm 16” circular needles
US 4/ 3.5mm 16” circular needles and/or dpns

Worsted: 20 stitches x 28 rounds
