Wanded Knit and Crochet
Gilded Beanie Knitting Pattern
Gilded Beanie Knitting Pattern
Stretchy cast on paired with a simple textured design, this super bulky design knits up quickly and is really comfortable to wear.
This is named for a good friend of mine who showed me a screenshot from a movie of a beanie she liked and commented on how different the brim looked from usual beanies. This was several years ago, when I had just started knitting, so while I figured it’s a cast on technique, I didn’t realize how easy it actually can be! You may have guessed this is the tubular cast on, and you’d be correct! While there are several ways to do this cast on, I prefer a specific method and it hasn’t failed me yet. Turns out really pretty and looks unique in heavier weight yarns.
