Finnigan Hat Knitting Pattern

Ahhhh, Seamus Finnigan. “Explosive” personality, right? Get it? Ok, bad puns aside, I really love how this hat came together. I wanted it to be bold and loud, so chose to use a bulky weight yarn to really make the main cable design stand out. I think it worked!

Skill level: Advanced Beginner/ Intermediate

Materials:
Bulky weight yarn (5)
Lion Brand Color Made Easy - about ½ skein
US 8/5.0mm 16” circular needles
US 10/6.0mm 16” circular needles or corresponding dpns for decreases
Stitch marker
Cable needle

Gauge: 14 st across x 15 rounds = 4 x 4 inches

Finished size: approximately 7” wide x 9.25” tall unstretched
