Feathertails are juvenile dragons in the popular Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros. Andarnaurram (“Andarna”) is a golden feathertail dragon that bonds with Violet Sorrengail, the protagonist. Andarna was just 2 years old when we met her in Fourth Wing, having waited 650 years for her rider. This stitch pattern is reminiscent of, well, her feathered tail.

This pattern is easy to adjust, with instructions given on how to resize. Two crown options make this even more customizable for a preferred fit.
