Laines du Nord Fashion Mohair is an explosion of beautiful and fun colors. Rather than the typical lace weight mohair we are accustomed to, this is a bulky weight yarn! It creates an airy but cozy and lightweight fabric. Looking at the rainbow of colors just brings a smile to the face.
Fiber content: Mohair (77%), Nylon (13%), Alpaca (10%)
I've written a pattern for a beanie using Fashion Mohair that is beginner friendly. The self-striping nature of the yarn is highlighted with simple stockinette stitch. With 3 circumferences for sizing and adjustable length, there is enough yarn in just one ball to make this slouchier or opt for a folded brim!
I had some really cute name suggestions for this one. Looking for something that was more consistent with my current branding and interests, the winner was Sfocato, meaning "blurred" in Italian - perfect as Laines du Nord is an Italian company and the mohair creates this fuzzy cuteness.
